Terms of Service

1. Agreement

TalkTogether is provided by JadeWarner ("we", "us"), trading as TalkTogether. These terms form an agreement between you and JadeWarner. By using TalkTogether you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and at least 13.

3. Plans and limits

The free plan includes daily limits on translation, document translation, video translation and phrase generation. Games are free to play. Pro removes those daily limits. We may adjust limits over time; if we reduce what a paid plan includes we will tell you first.

4. Billing and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

• Pro is $4.99 per month or $49.90 per year, charged in advance.
• Payment, billing, sales tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless auto-renew is turned off or the plan is cancelled.
• You can cancel, switch between monthly and annual, or turn off auto-renew at any time from the Account page. Cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Plan changes are prorated by Paddle; the app shows the effective date and next charge before you confirm.
• If a payment fails, your subscription moves to a past-due state and you'll be prompted to update your payment method or retry. Access may end if it isn't resolved.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy — a 30-day money-back guarantee, requested through Paddle at paddle.net.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use TalkTogether to:

• break the law or infringe someone else's rights;
• upload content you don't have the right to translate or share;
• record or transcribe people without the consent required where you are — voice and conversation features are yours to use responsibly;
• harass other players in multiplayer matches or in-game chat;
• scrape, resell or automate the service beyond normal personal use, or work around plan limits.

We may suspend accounts that breach these rules or put the service at risk.

6. AI output

Translations, transcriptions, generated phrases and lesson content are produced by AI models and can be wrong, incomplete or awkward. Don't rely on them for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical or official use without a qualified human review. You are responsible for how you use the output.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you submit. You grant us the limited permission needed to process it in order to deliver the feature you asked for.

8. Our intellectual property

JadeWarner owns TalkTogether and everything in it — the software, interface, content, documentation and branding. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your plan. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or work around technical limits.

9. Availability

The service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, and features may change, break, or be removed. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we exclude indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Changes and contact
